    Deviated septum/mucus vs diving

Glad you liked the article, any problems just give me a shout. It's a horrible feeling not being able to dive. The surgery is not too scary but the bad news is you will problably need to use sprays for the rest of your life to control symptoms!

I love this question, I think should be asked more often, my favourite dive area was Thomas Canyon Red Sea, by a close 2nd was a dive on right next to it on Jackson Reef. I have this video of this wonderful dive so you can share with me the moment!

    What is tec diving?

I am sorry, I did not realise that there was a procedure involved, I was the first to respond, initially I added a link to the complete article, but thought that was rude to SB, so I added the excerpt for the article with a link to the rest. I assumed that people would read it before casting...

    What is tec diving?

The SB member did not state whether they wanted someone to copy a technical explanation out of a wiki or to have the excerpt of an article with the complete article shown on someones experience. If you think telling a non technical diver that technical diving means"usually involves diving beyond...

    What is tec diving?

Getting into Tech Diving As divers become more experienced and more educated with training a natural progression occurs towards diving with Nitrox (defined below). This in itself is the first step towards becoming a technical diver. The advantages are clear, better bottom dives and less post...

Sipadan - Don't Waste Your Time

I think everybody since Cousteau who has even though about diving has considered going to Sipidan. It's a pity that all I here is negative news about the place. Just from memory: Overdiving Pollution Sinking Island Damage to the marine ecology because of government stupidity Political...

    Rebreathers and Sharks

I was very surprised when I started diving with Sharks after moving from OC how close them came, infact it gave me a good dose of the fear. I was unprepared for the Sharks more inquisitve behaviour due to the lack of bubbles. Has anyone else experience this as well? I was filming the sharks, the...

    Sharm El Sheikh "local dives"

The problem is Tigerman, Sharm used to be an oasis of fish, my first trip in 99, you snorkel surrounded by fish. It's IMPORTANT TO REALISE how damage the tourism is doing to one of the worlds best diving locations. Egypt needs to control the tourism in Sharm and extend the protection of the...

    TMJ? Or Ear infection?

Laymans advice, it's fine to dive, but definitely speak to someone about the TMJ. Just post me when you come back. If you can get a simple mouth guard or something to stop the Bruxism, it might help stop the pain.
