    Going to Brazil/Chile/Argentina

Hey, Crawl!!! Where do you go diving in Rio? Arraial? Cabo Frio? Buzios? Angra? Did you see the conditions in Arraial last (13/14 dec) weekend? Unbelievable! Almost like Noronha! Even better than when the OP (where is he, BTW ???) came to Brazil!!! Let's dive some day!!!

    Going to Brazil/Chile/Argentina

If it's after carnaval, I think you can count me in!!! Until then, I'll be in a job assignment in Maceió - nice beaches, some good diving spots reported, but it's difficult to find a dive operator there, heard about one at Praia do Francês, so I'll check it out and maybe start a thread about it...

    Going to Brazil/Chile/Argentina

Please, do contact me, whenever you have time to come. As we go really frequently we have good conditions for accomodations in the nearby Pousadas, both in Cabo Frio and Arraial and we have (of course) made friends with some of the best dive shops, so we can arrange for some very interesting and...

    Going to Brazil/Chile/Argentina

Hi, acqua girl! (And hi again, Steve....!!!) The OP, Steve, has been diving in Cabo Frio, Arraial do Cabo and Angra dos Reis, last november. He made contact with me in advance (as you can figure from the above posts) and I tried booking Laje de Santos but the backlog was too big, because...

    Diving Southern Brasil: Floripa

Hi, sorry to jump in like this but, about the damages inflicted by the storms, I'd really recommend taking a look at the on line versions of brazilian newspapers for the latest information about the flood in the Itajai Valley and it's consequences for tourism in northern Santa Catarina state...

    Another hi from the UK

Hi again (once more... I keep forgetting things...) !! There is a very nice place here to learn more about diving in Mexico, it's the mexican forum (including a Cozumel subforum) in the Regional Travel and Dive Clubs session of the Board. Good reading, and safe diving!

    Hello from Portugal

Hey, Covediver, I've always been really curious about Alaska and this info about the Emerald Sea just put me still more on the track for a dry suit - I'm more concerned with low visibility than with cold water, so I guess I would enjoy this fantastic visibility you told us about! BTW, I've...

    Diving in Panama

Thank you so much! These are valuable information and I will be able to do some web researching on those places, for accomodations, distances and so on. Maybe I can even go to Boca del Toro and dive with your shop! That sounds great already!! And Diver-X, you're, of course, welcome!!! I hope...

Going diving, hope it is warmer where you are.

Hey, if any of you ever come this way, please let me know! I'll be pleased to take you around for some not-so-cold-water diving. Rio's water isn't so warm, though, as it averages 22 degrees celsius. But in the northeast, where diving is great, water temp is a nice 27 degrees the whole year and...

    Diving in Panama

Hi, Cappyjon431! Thanks for replying!! Is the water cold in the pacific ?? I do like big critters! But I also like warm waters, so I almost always end up somewhere in the caribbean... taking pictures of nudibranchs, sponges and coral formations :) I heard someone over here say that you...

Going diving, hope it is warmer where you are.

Problem is, the notebook doesn't have a real numeric key pad and I couldn't make it with the Fn key together with alt and numbers... Sorry everybody, this does not have anything at all to do with all the low temp diving over there!! I still can't figure what it is to dive in such conditions...
