I thought it was crap. And who certified solo diver #1? I don't think a course can turn you into a solo diver.

Anyone hear anything more about this? My father worked with her and sent me the news article from the local paper. He doesn't know anything about diving, but only related to me he heard "her suit was filled with water." Not sure if she had dry vs. wet suit and heard no other details.

I'm sure there's necessary information, all of the stuff with Desmond on the island has got be important. Just not a great overall episode, especially compared with classics like "Do No Harm" or "Through the Looking Glass".

Would it not depend on the blood:tissue solubility coefficient for each specific tissue? That is a lower solubility would take longer to equilibrate and vice versa.

My wife doesn't dive and has no interest in diving. She is supportive of my diving though, and even made me go diving an additional day on our last vacation together. She especially likes my vacation dives because that means an extra day at the spa for her. Extra diving stateside doesn't help...
