Luckily you are not going to Bonaire where they will steal everything you own before you can find a taxi to leave the airport. I am assuming that you both have DAN or another suitable dive insurance so you really don't have anything to worry about.

Well on the upside when you rebuild it with the insurance money you can make sure that you have a clear aft deck for all your photo ops. and build a real dive boat ;)

A stage bottle, regardless of weather you use it the bottle is still part of a "staged" dive plan it is there for a contingency.

That is why I was qualifying it, a pony and a stage are not one and the same. A stage is slung and pony is attached to your cylinder, they also used to be attached between doubles which was a really convoluted setup. But you know better so call it what you want.
