@!#$@!!! Not a good Friday for me.

Thanks... I found the DAN site and most of the studies show it is a Low risk. Getting my doctor to agree with that may be a different story. I'm now looking at trying to find a doctor in the Maryland/Wash DC. area that is at least familiar with scuba, asthma and what the current thinking...

@!#$@!!! Not a good Friday for me.

I went to the Doctors office today to get checked out because I have a history of Asthma. He will NOT let me dive. I'm going to look around for a 2nd opinion. I've finished my OW class and was getting everything together for my checkout dive. Now it looks like I may not be able to dive...

Sorry. I'm not sure what the LDS in Ft. Lauderdale is. I'm going thorough my group up here and they are setting everything up.

    Almost there

Completed the written test last Sunday. Then we have one more pool session to learn a couple of extra skills and I'm done with the classroom. First week in May I'm off to Ft. Lauderdale for my checkout dive and I'll be certified .... or at least certifiable. :D Can't wait. The Florida...

    What is on their backs?

I wonder why they do 3 separate tanks instead of one larger one? I suppose with seperate tanks if one fails they still have the other two. Also, I suspect it is a manufacturing thing... The manufacturing plants are geared to make cylinders. They would have two set up a totally different...

    Momentum Nereos

Just got mine yesterday. I must say the pictures (even from the manufacturer) do not do it justice. It is gorgeous! I would definately wear it to the office or anywhere. I'm almost afraid to dive with it since it's so nice, but I will ;) It seems very sturdy and so far I really love it...

Custom wetsuit - Boggled by neoprene types sold by different custom wetsuit companies

I'm kind of suprised to hear this on a number of counts. First, your profile shows no dives logged and not certified, but you have had a Wetwear suit for 2 years? Second, I'm not sure what you are referring to about the edges and clasps... As far as I know, there are no clasps... just the...

Custom wetsuit - Boggled by neoprene types sold by different custom wetsuit companies

Hi All. I'm another newbie and looking into getting a wetsuit. Ironically, I have also been seriously leaning towards wetwear and a 3mil suit with at 5mil shortie. I haven't settled yet but I spoke with Christi and she was great. Another option I was looking at was Harvey's wetsuits...
