Hey all. I am in the market for a new computer. I am almost positive i want a Galileo but i have not decided between the two. I have the chance to get either one brand new for less than $1000. I can get the Luna for about $650 and Sol for $825. Yes that includes everything. (Transmitter ect.) I...
That is the computer i use. No complaints at all except for in infrared. When pairing it with your computer, it has to be in the perfect spot and not move or it will not connect or it will lose connection while your connecting it to your computer. My buddies all use the Uwatec Luna and comparing...
Hey guys. Im a local here in Panama City Beach, FL looking for some shore dive buddies. Im available most Saturdays and my schedule varies through the week. Right now i average maybe 2 dives a week with a couple of friends that are dive instructors. I have the time to do 4-6 a week, just no...
For one, I am diving in a busy jetties so there tons of boats and jet skiers going through. Not to mention the numerous fisherman on the rocks fishing. The jetties are probably 300-400 yards long so leaving my dive flag at the entrance is not an option. For other dive spots, running a line down...
I was thinking this one... Highland by XS Scuba Reel
But im unfamiliar with what options a reel should have to tow a dive flag. ( or at least make it less of a hassle)
Im stuck trying to decide what reel to get to tow a dive flag. Ive used the line holders but i really dont like them. What reel would you suggest for towing a dive flag?
Im not skilled enough to change with a towel around me. Tried once and the parking lot got a nice look at my ass when the back half of the towel fell. Since then, ive always gone Under Amour compression shorts like the others. Never tried a speedo. Sounds like a good idea though..... ;)
I did my OW through diver's den, but ive interacted/bought stuff with Dive locker, PC dive center and DD. Ive been treated great at all. I cant help you out with rental prices because ive never rented anything. They all of course have charters as well. If you cant find their numbers let me know...
Thank you reo for the picture. That really helps me make my decision.
After looking for awhile for info on the eled's bulb and replacement, I called UK and they said it was guaranteed for 5500 hours and if anything happened before that it was under warranty.
Definitely try different tanks if you can. In my case, i happened to have friends with both HP80's and HP100's so i used theirs for a dive and figured out which was more comfortable in the water. It just so happened that the HP100 was perfect for me.
One reason i just bought my HP100. There was like a 4 or 6 inch difference between them and the al80's. Plus i can drop almost all my weight from my BC and the pressure on the steels can be filled up to 3442. Some shops around me fill them to 3600-3800, so there are some pros to the steels.
I just got this BC as well and done maybe 20 dives on it so far. Using the inflator hose to dump air was extremely hard at first. Some BC's i used before this one, you didnt have to be completely vertical to dump air but on this one you do. I also had a few uncontrolled accents at first with...
