Looks like the crossing should be ok this Saturday. I'm going to be taking 3 divers to Catalina on my boat(31' Tiara) Saturday. We will be focusing on spots around two harbors on the lee side. Wish us luck.

Agreed, however I see them being used for diving all the time, both boat and shore. It's amazing to me that Akona would not make them more resistant to being used in this fashion. Now I can use mine for both.

Many divers have the Akona Roller bag and many most likely are seeing corrosion of the inside rails. Both rails on my bag started to corrode over a year ago and I just laid a towel down to keep my gear off of it. The rails have gotten so bad I finally decided to do something permanent about...

I do not ask for gas money either. I'm lucky in this. My Mom's trust, that she left us, pays for the gas. I just wish I could have taken my Mom out on the boat, she loved the water.

I have an old oval seaview mask that is in fair shape. It still seals, however the edges of the rubber are a bit "wavey". I'd like to preserve it correctly but do not know if I should put anything on the rubber. What is the best way to preserve old rubber? Thanx.

My buddy and I were lucky to secure a spot at Lover's Cove on the upcoming Avalon Harbor clean up on Feb 22nd. Since diving is restricted at the cove does anyone have any expericence there, and maybe a pointer or two for marine life to keep an eye out for? Thanx
