The longer the class in days not hours the more time you have to process what you learn. I find that my 5 day class students turn out better divers than my 2 day classes. I have never tried to teach to CW in one day.

You will find far more PADI shops and resorts than SSI. If you are looking to make money try something else.

At that location they get a lot of casual divers and should be prepared for novices. Make sure the operation is a good one and not just an operation that is full time banana boats and jet skis and part time diving. And watch out for the current. Like Cozumel you will encounter mostly drift diving.
