I've been several times in August and went once during spring break. Definitely slower in August but this is the slowest I've seen an August roll call thread. I love going in August as the water temp is perfect and the crowds are reduced.

Based on the activity in this thread it looks like the boats are going to be empty.

I am going 8/6 - 8/13. Staying at Casa Mexican and diving Tres Pelicanos. Traveling in a group of 6 divers.

I’ve stayed there several times. Good value for the money. Food is ok. Won’t kill you but nothing to write home about. Good location. WiFi has been pretty weak in the rooms. A little better in lobby. I try to stay off the internet while on vacation.
