    malapascua/moalboal - nitrox needed?

For Monad Shoal in Malapascua - Nitrox is not necessary, but the extra bottom time that you can get with Nitrox is always welcome... Esp if you're just hovering around in >25m waiting for the Threshers :) I wasn't Nitrox certified when I went, but in hindsight, I wish I was already certified!

    Dive computers for small wrists

I have a 5.5" wrist. I used a Scubapro Aladin 2G on a bungee mount for 8 years (until it broke because someone dropped my bag from the overhead bin on a flight, and that was the casualty). Replaced it with another Scubapro Aladin - and they now come with holes for bungee straps so there's no...

Is it okay to put the tray and handles in cabin baggage?

Flying with my Nauticam Housing and tray (which is metal). I usually take it apart and check the tray... But cant seem to disassemble it atm. Two of the really small screws are pretty stuck. Has anyone tried just bringing the entire thing in cabin baggage?

    Bare Evoke Wetsuit Review

I got the 3mm to replace my old Bare 2/3mm, and I love it! Keeps me warm and toasty even on 80-90 minute dives, and even on the 4th dive of the day. Some of the inner stitching is a bit scratchy, and they've tried to put in pads to cover up the scratchy areas. But it can still get a bit...

    Flooded Inon Wet Lens

Thank you for the advice Cali_diver and Stoo!!! Had her turn it over to the Inon dealer here -- the owner said he'll check it first. It was pretty wet inside and the front lens was moving around. Probably more than a bump, but she says she did not bump it.

    Flooded Inon Wet Lens

Hi Hoag! That's exactly how a wet lens works! I also thought that was what she meant by "flooding" -- but in this case, the water got stuck inside the lens. And I've personally never come across or heard of a wet lens behaving like that, so that's why I'm asking here :). At least based on the...

    Flooded Inon Wet Lens

Has anyone encountered an Inon wet lens that flooded inside the lens? I sold my UCL 100 to someone. It was okay on the first dive. On her second dive, she says that the lens flooded inside about halfway through. She sent me this photo. She says that she didn't drop it or bump it or anything...

    Sony a6000 16mm+Fisheye Converter Ports

I have the Nauticam housing for the a6300. I believe the ports are the same. For the 16mm + fisheye, I use the small dome port (36125). Pretty happy with my Nauticam housing -- it also has the widest range of ports for the different lenses for the a6000/a6300. You might not need that option...

    Sony A6300 Lense Recommendation

I used to have an Canon s95 + wet lens set-up also. Really love the 90mm, and not having a tough time focusing. I just had to get used to the focusing distance -- since I have to be further away compared to the canon s95 + wet lens set-up. This actually makes shooting skittish fish easier, and...

    Sony A6300 Lense Recommendation

Yes, pretty happy with it. I dinged my dome port on some coral though -- hoping it can still be fixed!

    Sony A6300 Lense Recommendation

Sure, I can post some test shots from my trip in early May. Don't usually take video, but might take some this time around. Good luck deciding. Took me a year to commit to a camera! Lol.

    Sony A6300 Lense Recommendation

Hello! I'm also waiting for my a6300 and Nauticam housing. Getting the Sony FE 90mm for macro. The lens and ports are quite pricey, but since I shoot macro most of the time, I decided to splurge! For wide angle, I'm buying a friend's used 16mm pancake, fisheye converter and dome. It's not as...
