    For Sale Dive Computer-For Sale!

@Marie13 updated with pics. And I changed the title. (I wear it on my wrist, so I call it a watch. *shrug*)

    For Sale Dive Computer-For Sale!

I have a Genesis Centauri Wrist Mount Dive Computer for sale. It is gently used, I've used it for about a dozen dives, and found that I simply dislike the interface. I tried returning it, however that wasn't possible since I had unfortunately thrown out the original box. I have the charger and...

Treasure By The Sea in Bonaire

After all of your great suggestions yesterday, the owner actually replied to my email! (I don't know if the Chamber reached out, Susan from InfoBonaire, the Bonaire Reporter, or someone else, but thanks!) The owner finally sent me a cancellation email last night, confirming our cancellation...

Treasure By The Sea in Bonaire

Thank you for the replies and suggestions @living4experiences @Damselfish and @tursiops! @living4experiences August 4th was when I sent the first email asking about cancelling our reservation. According to the policy, we have until September 3 (30 days before we go, which was October 3) to...

Treasure By The Sea in Bonaire

This is a long shot, but I'm trying to cover all of my bases! My husband and I booked a dive trip to Bonaire for October 3-10, 2020. Obviously with Covid-19, it's cancelled. Last Monday, American Airlines cancelled our flight so we have no way to physically get to the island. I reached out...

Trip Report 8 Day Trip Report: Sand Dollar, Dive Friends

I will confirm two things @drrich2 stated in his write-up: 1. Sand Dollar is a great, central place to stay and 2. Bonaire is awesome! :yeahbaby:

Dolphin Sighting - Invisibles Dive Site

@Soloist that is amazing! Seeing them underwater in the wild has always been a bucket list item for me. I was fortunate enough to see them a few years ago in Cozumel. I was in Bonaire in April 2019, so lucky you, I'm jealous!:yeahbaby:

Trip Report from Raja Ampat aboard the Calico Jack Liveaboard

We're actually looking into Calico Jack for 2021 for our first liveaboard. How varied was the food? We've never done a liveaboard before, so I'm concerned there won't be food I'll like. You said meat or fish dishes, can you give examples please?

    Shark ID in Cozumel

The tail description makes me think lemon shark, although their noses are more nurse shark-like. Could also be a silky shark as they're native to Caribbean waters. Definitely doesn't sound like a mako though! What did the eyes look like? Big and round, catslit pupils, small?

Going Through Customs for Leaving Grand Cayman?

We do have trip insurance, but I don't think it covers missed flights due to slow lines through customs. CLT is a nice airport, if laid out for marathon runs when time is crunched. I intend to ask when I call tomorrow about baggage and security checks, thanks. ;)

Going Through Customs for Leaving Grand Cayman?

When I called today and when I have called in the past, I was told that 55 minutes was enough time to clear customs. AA doesn't seem to think it will be an issue at all. When I call again, I plan to ask what they will do if we somehow don't make it in enough time.

Going Through Customs for Leaving Grand Cayman?

That's pretty much what I thought, AA is full of it with there being a customs office in GC. I will likely keep calling until I get a better/more realistic answer! And this is not the first time AA has changed our flight reservations either; they seem to enjoy doing it a few months out on...

Going Through Customs for Leaving Grand Cayman?

We're taking a trip to Grand Cayman this November and American Airlines has, once again, changed our flight times. Now we've got about 55 minutes in Charlotte (our connecting airport) before flying the last leg of the journey home. I don't feel that's enough time to get through customs, get our...

    Scubaboard lifting leaderboard

By major lifts I assume you mean the big 5? Bench press, deadlift, barbell curls, squat and overhead press? Here are my stats: (I'm female, petite and 5'3" by the way.) 1. Bench Press (machine) - 8/23/16 1 rep at 100lbs 2. Squat (sled machine) - 9/8/15 9 reps at 305lbs 3. Barbell Curls -...

    Dolphins

We were in Cozumel back in November and on my friend's first ever Discover Scuba dive, during our safety stop at 15 feet in about 45 feet of water near Cedral Pass we saw wild dolphins!!! Four bottlenose dolphins swam close by us underwater. And shortly after that, two more swam by! In our...

Best And Worst Bc For Women

I'm another Zeagle Zena gal! I've had mine for over a year and it's still one of the most comfortable BC's I've ever had on. I can tighten it as much as I like and there are plenty of pockets (something a sized small Mares doesn't have!). Depending on your body size, it may be a good choice as...
