Yeah that much is definitely true! The OW seemed very rushed and I felt like a lot of the skills were checked off without us having actually managed to perform them properly! Would be nice if they spent a bit longer making sure you actually have the skills down before giving you the...
Thanks for the all the advice! That's given me a lot to think about. Seems some people are very bitter about PADI specialties...I'm not interested in getting a card, I simply want to be the best diver I can be and if that means having to take specialty courses then I will happily do it!
Thanks for the advice. To be honest I'm still at university so don't know where life will take me at the moment but I know I definitely want diving to be a big part of it! I would love to be an instructor but I would also love to get involved in the research side of diving. I'll just have to see...

I want to work in marine conservation as a research diver and I've noticed many organisations want you to be qualified to atleast a Divemaster. But I also want to...
Thanks, that would be great! I haven't been to Wraysbury before and the only diving I've done in the UK was at Vobster which was great fun! I'm ready to get as much experience as I can! Thanks for the advice :)

Thanks Jim that's really useful advice! I realise now that it's not all about qualifications, it's about experience. I'll practice practice practice and see how I feel next year or the year after!
Hello out there! I just passed my OW last July. Learnt in Mozambique and it was the best thing I've ever done. Fallen in love with diving and look forward to many more fantastic diving experiences in the future. Looking to get some great tips and tricks from you guys on becoming a better diver...
Hi guys, I'm fairly new to diving (just did my OW last July). I've done less than 20 dives and am not a great diver at the moment (buoyancy's still a bit iffy and I go through air like there's no tomorrow) but I immediately fell in love with diving and want to become a PADI Divemaster. Should a...
