My Dry Dives and Other Adventures with DCS, PFO and Migraine with Aura

I don't know, Angie. There's a lot of "relative" terms there. That deep? too long? taking it easy? :D I'm going to have to promise to be a "good patient" to be seen. I'm just glad you're feeling better and back in the water. Keep on "taking it easy" for awhile, will ya? And now, let's...

Diver lost in 100' off Juno Beach, FL

The current was not particularly hateful that day - surpisingly. I will say that Eve was in a hover - that is, not moving and holding her space. I've done that dive with that particular group of divers many times and know how bad the currents can be - accounting for the "loose buddy system"...

    Eve Schwartz

Here is one of Eve with her fiance Quinn. Eve was in the medical profession as an ER nurse, not a physical therapist. We're going to miss her.

Diver lost in 100' off Juno Beach, FL

Amid all the speculation, I feel compelled to share what happened that day. BTW, we're all guilty of speculation - I've been trying to figure this out myself. I had posted this on another board and am just copying it over - it was hard enough to write the first time. Eve had called me early...

New to forum - Deerfield Beach FL

On a good day, there are several really nice dives right off the shore. I prefer early mornings, flat seas (so there's no surge and its easier to egress) and easier parking. If it's too rough, the vis sucks in the shallows. (I'm spoiled!) Let me know when you're coming down this way. Pat

Yes, Don, I am an instructor (PADI MSDT). I'm not affiliated with any shop, just an independent who teaches enough to pay the costs of keeping my licenses active and insurance up to date. I do mostly "word of mouth" referrals and seem to get a lot of kids. I really enjoy it but have a real...

If I don't have a boat ride, I go off the beach. THere are some really nice spots that are a very easy swim. If you get down from Orlando, look me up.

    Fort Lauderdale,Deerfield beach

It's a neat dive in that I've dove over 100 times. There a 3 resident goliath grouper that hang out there as well as several sting rays, a free swimming moray and an occssional nurse shark. I take a lot of students out there because there is so much life that they are really impressed. If...

Hi dive buddies. I was talking to a gal in the local dive shop who told me about this site so I thought I'd check it out. I've been diving down here in South FL for many years and am always looking for dive buddies to go lobstering and spearfishing with. I try to get out every weekend...

Anyone with any information on diving in Stuart Florida?

I dive mostly in Broward and Palm Beach counties; occassionally go up to Jupiter but have not made it up to Stuart yet. Let me know what you find.
