Naturally, OW is safer than Cave. It's not even debatable. However, I could see your point that a certified Cave diver might be less risk exposed than a Koh Tao trained OW diver with a fresh cert. Especially if diving a bit more demanding and/or deeper sites.

I use two grey and no scooter, but a large torch on Goodman handle. The weird thing is that when this happens it stays disconnected for the entire dive unless i change the computer over to the other arm and then the other side loses connection, so it seems unlikely that it's batteries but...

I wonder if steels + thick undergarments is enough to disturb the signal of the transmitter is in towards the body. Maybe it's that easy?

Weird. Do you dive steel tanks as well? How do you have your transmitters connected? On hose or screwed straight on the first stage?

Does the LX20+ work if one has a ring system on the drysuit? It looks like it might protrude quite a bit on the back and that it might catch the rings? :/

Are those Faber 10l 300 bars or 232 bars? If 300, they might definitely be a bit heavy to dive SM in. I mean, you can do it, but it will be strenuous with a pair of tanks that are -8kg empty :)

I NEVER thought about this. I always end up putting the whole thing in my mouth and press the spigot against my teeth to make a remotely acceptable seal. This method shall be tried on my very next dive! :)

Yeah, i have only used Tech mode since i got my transmitters last week. Fair enough, only two dives and I will continue using it unless they introduce away to do it in tech mode :)
