Geeks 4 was indeed continued excellence from Rob. Three hours (with the OT session for tuning) went by incredibly fast. I was pleasantly surprised with the relatively simple maintenance protocol. Cannot wait to tune my new “prize” - with the @James79 tools - and get it in the water. Best

Agreed. Someone may have swapped out the air barrel, but what confuses me is I have never previously seen the “pebbled” G250 cover with the seat saver……and I have seen and rebuilt a whole bunch of 250’s.

I am uncertain exactly what I have, here. This outwardly looks like a Scubapro G250HP. The adjustment knob is the same, it is lighter than a G250 and the “internals” look like a 250HP, but it has a metal air barrel (is that normal?) and the “pebbled” cover indicates it is a G250; although it has...

Perhaps better to wait until you have an opportunity to determine if DIY service is for you. But if you become serious, you will own a magnahelic (which I know very well from personal experience!!). Best
