As the title states 2nd stage hose length preference on a FFM, any FFM to be honest. Im just curious if people shorten their 2nd stage hose with FFM's. Thinking about going half the length of my standard apeks XL4 hose length. Thanks :)

I’m evolving from a hydros (SP) to a backplate set-up & I have to admit, backplates are AWESOME . My question if anyone knows, is there a butt plate or “lower” back plate available for these set-ups? To raise it an inch or so away from the lower spine? Think it’ll help me with preventing lower...

I ended up going with a Halcyon single tank adapter with a 6lb lead weight installed. Hopefully with that, 2 trims @ 4/5 lbs & a HP steel 117 I should be solid for my saltwater adventures.
