Coast Guard rescues diver from Texas boat

Is there more than one boat that does this trip? Whatever the case, this sounds like a medical emergency so I don't think naming the boat would be libelous.

Snorkeler pulled unconscious from the water at Scuba Club Cozumel.

It sounds as if the best care possible was given (prompt and uninterrupted CPR) and, in this case, the outcome would not have been different in the US. Condolences to the family and many thanks to the bystanders for their willingness to provide care.

Viajero Confiable, Mexico's Global Entry program

If it is ever an option in Cozumel, I will certainly sign up. Last week, I returned from Cozumel to Houston. In 40 minutes, I deplaned, collected my checked bag, cleared immigration/customs and boarded the shuttle to my car. In other words, I'm a big fan of Global Entry.

Deaths at Eagles Nest - Homosassa FL

I have certifications with 3 of those agencies spanning 16 years. Just searched myself and only 1 returned a record for me. Not that I am interested in defending this guy in anyway...

Corporate Foreign Diving ousts Dive Palancar

You can, but it just isn't as funny to me. This summer I stayed at Villa Aldora when Mrs Aldora was in town celebrating something (a birthday, maybe). I live in the 'bubble' north of Houston, so we chatted about neighborhoods and such.

Corporate Foreign Diving ousts Dive Palancar

Although I dont post much, I have lurked in the Cozumel forum for years. Now I'm jumping in to insist that you modify your sig to include your newest designation of "Mr Aldora". Some day I'm going to catch a Norte so I can sneak over to the east side you keep bragging about!!!

    United red eye canceled

After reading this thread, I checked my April reservation. And, yes, it has changed. The big red type was there. Many thanks to United for the unannounced changes.

    New Aqualung Zuma for 2013?

So far, so good. I'm about 25 warm water dives in and I only have good things to say. In the interest of full disclosure, I upgraded to a nicer tank strap (easier to buckle) and added weight pockets there. For me, this was a transition to a back inflated BC and it has been an easy one.
