I have recently heard Temp 66* for local diving around SC. Vis 25-30 ft. If it were a little warmer I would be going. I think next month will be my first trip for this summer.

The mouth to blue bay is more south then east. There is an island that is in the mouth that leads to the bay. Plus the outer reef slowes down the waves.
