It is 2250. Although it was originally plus-rated, I have yet to find a place around here that tests for the + (believe I've looked hi and low). Anyways not a big deal if you find the right tank jockey. The place where I bought it has a pair of galvanized 50s, but rated for 1800 psi with 3/4"...

Hey guys, I'm 6' 170lbs, and fairly lean (i'm a sinker). Anyways, I've been diving a SS backplate (5#), a steel 72, and 5 lbs of lead on my belt with a 4 mm fullsuit. The water is getting colder now, and I'm gonna wear a 7mm suit. I'm wondering about how many pounds I need to add to compensate...

i have the same one you're talking about it. It's a coyne and mine is galvanized. its a great tank. I haven't been able to find the buoyancy characteristics on it though, but I'd guess 6~8 lbs negative when full. I like it. A bit heavy, but holds gobs of gas.

i think im going to take them to pacific wilderness in san pedro. the guys in the so cal forum say the place is really good. they're a scuba shop but they do hydros in house. i think a hydro, tumble, and vip is $35. As for as rebuilding valves, is there any way to do it myself? Maybe some...
