    Tech Diving Mag ???

Thanks, I have everything up till Sept 2018. Looking at the twitter account it would seem as thought the Sept 2018 edition is the last produced, the last tweet was 4 Sept 2018 - so it seems as though another tech literary resource has disappeared.

    Tech Diving Mag ???

Got Xray - Tech Diving Mag was a good mag, had really good technical write ups on the tech side of tech. i.e. in depth on bubble models, gas mixes etc.

    Tech Diving Mag ???

Hi, 'www.techdivingmag.com' takes me to a twitter account that is Tech Diving Mag. I cannot access the site to download the magazine. I do not have a twit account, if you click on the link in twitter to go to the latest issue it just opens another twitter page. It has been like this for months...

    Bonne Terre Mine

My cave diving is done mostly in a mine that is accessed 14m (46ft) from the surface and has only one entrance. There is another spot where you can exit, which was a ventilation shaft, but you end up in the bush with a bit of a walk left and you would only do it if there was no deco required...

    Bonne Terre Mine

I was reading a Scuba Diving Magazine from June 2017 that had an article on the mine. What surprised me was there was no mention of tech options and from what I could see from the pictures it seemed to be a cave diving environment yet the article was geared towards OW divers. I tried to see if...

    Solo Technical Why?

I voted No. Then thought about it and realised that there is probably a need for two Solo Diver sections, one for AOW and one for Tech divers. The risks are vastly different.

Which wrist do you wear your computer(s)?

I have it on my left wrist along with my slate above it. My right hand is my dominant hand and I use a VR3 - enough said.

A new chapter in the tale of the S.S. Central America....

Not understanding why an arrest warrant was issued, was this because he sold the gold? Territorial waters only extend to 12nm and the contiguous zone to 24nm. My understanding is this was his gold found 200miles off shore so why is he arrested?

Advice on regulators for new and upcoming scuba diver

Scubapro make the best regulators. Atomic make better regulators. You don't say how cold the water is, I use Atomic in 12 - 16 degree C water at depth and they work fine without the environmental packing.

Diving Mozambique & Aliwal Shoals in December

I would advise you not to go to Ponto D'Ouro & Malongane in December as all the rubbish from SA go there and behave like pigs during this time. A bit further up is Ponta Mamoli, which is quieter and has nice accomodation. Mamoli will pick you up at the SA border at the Kozi Bay border post but...

    Differences between B1 & B2

Thanks guys, would the color kits fit the B1. My covers are completely trashed and it doesn't seem as though I can get replacement covers I have to buy the whole kit.

    Differences between B1 & B2

I would like to know what the difference is between the B1 and the B2, I think the B2 1st stage had the new piston and seat but is this the only difference. Are the 2nd stages identical internally. If I stick a piston upgrade into my B1 is it a B2?

Atomic B2 Regulator Deco Bottle Use

I use my Z1 1st stage (cleaned) and a Ti second stage for 57% O2 for years and still have not burst into flames.

IANTD EAN vs PADI EAN courses

I did the PADI Nitrox course and then did IANTD advanced Nitrox but this was a number of years back in the good old days when a PADI adv cert was good for 40m ;). IANTD is 1.4 PPO2, you have TOD & MOD, TOD is your target operating depth, which is a PPO2 of 1.4 and MOD is your maximum operating...

    Deep Stops Increases DCS

Hopefully not, that can introduce isobaric counterdiffusion so you should have He in your deco gas.

    Cobra anomaly

I have an independent 2L for my suit and my wing is inflated off my back gas. That said I am ascending and then remaining at 18m so I would not be inflating my wing, maybe and this is a stretch, I use a little gas to get my trim correct but that wouldn't account for a 35 bar loss. I will, on my...

    Cobra anomaly

That's not a demon cave dweller, as far as I can tell it's a transvestite trying to look macho.

    Cobra anomaly

Hi All, I use a Vr3 and a Suunto Cobra (in gauge mode) for my diving, the Cobra is really only used as a SPG although I download the Cobra data to Suunto Dive Manager as I can keep track of my SAC rate of the back gas. At 137bar on my back gas I switch to 53% at 19m for 18 min and then switch...

    Underwater Geocaching?

I was under the impression that microwaves could not penetrate the water, therefore GPS's (if waterproof) could not work under water, or am I being a stoopid :dork2:.

Beautiful Poseidon BeSea - anyone have this BC???

Sorry to bring this, that has been relegated to the bins of history, back to the front but I thought I could add some value to a forgotten thread. I use the W100 and have been for about 4 years now. I use it to dive technical, cave and wreck, I dive in a drysuit with undergarments and I do...
