I tossed the letter from Canon USA that said the o-rings are not replaceable. Sorry. Interesting they don't know?
Did you mic the o-rings or just take one into to a fitting supply outlet to get the right ones?
Thanks,

One of the function buttons leaked. I exercise them under water to rinse them the best that can be done. They are not replaceable.
There is nothing wrong with the door O-ring and I kept it in perfect shape.
Who would build in an O-ring that cannot be replaced...
:( I received a Canon digital camera, the A40 in the WP-DC200 underwater housing. After but 75 dives, the housing leaked. Fortunately, the camera was not ruined.
I called the dive shop where I bought it and they said they no longer sold them because most of them failed. I then wrote...
Doug runs a bare bones charter and Terry stays on shore. Email me at gulfdiver@scubadiving.com and I'll send you the phone number.
They run out of Ft Pierce and this trip is sold out.
Since you say it was a bad free flow and you only lost 300 psi, this may have occured on or near the surface.
Will a half turn be enough? That's hard to say. If it was a surface problem, you can check it out in a swimming pool. Suggest you hold the octo in your hand during entry with the...
No, it is owned and skippered by Doug Mitchell.
He bought the boat with a different name but kept getting stopped by the Coast Guard. Turns out the old name appears on their drug boat list a lot, so he was getting stopped a lot.
So there may have been another Isla Mia out there early on.
My buddy's been out with them many times. I'm the rookie this trip. His stories and pictures are great.
Will ask about Jeff's shark attack. How many teeth did you extract from your wetsuit/T-Shirt?
Sure thing Laura. That's what the boards are for; helping each other out.
I got a lot of help from both boards before we went to the Caymans. Tried to hook up with Camancase's group for an afternoon dive but they were booked.
CC, has anyone from this board dived with you yet...
There are two spots open on a bare bones charter to the Bahamas out of Ft Pierce. email me at gulfdiver@scubadiving.com if you are interested and I'll send you the contact info on the lady who's putting it together.
$575, food included. Divers help pump air, cook, clean up, whatever. Like...
Can't help you with the hotel.
We dove with Bob Soto's in May. Posted a trip report on ScubaDiving.com forum. They have a lot of freindly people and are a pretty good dive op. Try to get to the North side for most of your dives. Some nice stuff on the West but we enjoyed the North much...
Thanks guys. And not to worry about contradictory posts and opinions! We'll have a lot of time down there next year to look things over and I appreciate your feedback.

Will try to get by your place. Look forward to meeting you. Not sure we'll get to dive on this trip but if its as good as everyone says, we'll be back!
We will definitely hit the spots you recommend and I hope she falls in love with Scuba too!
if you go with a standard setup, they set you up with a second stage that is somewhat detuned so it does not free flow on the surface. With most rigs, the octo cost less and has a longer hose. But a lot of divers are going to longer hoses on their primary second stage too. do what is...
