12/18 finally got some time to dive...

and so I went for another 1-day excursions (2h drive to the shore)...

weather outside was cloudy (8C) and water was quite murky (12C) but still we had some good time and some nice pictures...

Looks like a bunny-eared false angler turtle, facing away.

What in the heck is that thing? Wow.

well, the litteral translation of the croatian name would be "ugly fish"... There are 2 kinds of this fish in adriatic: lophuis piscatorius (lives in the deep) and lophius budegassa...

This should be the second one... The book says that it's english names are: Frogfish, Black-bellied angler... The deep version is also called: sea devil, abbot, anglerfish, monkfish, angler...

so you can choose whatever one you like
