That's a terrible story. I hope the divers are OK and can overcome this ordeal. I love this posted comment about the story (from the link in the original post).

Scuba divers are not the most intelligent people, and after living in a diving town for two years I found most to be confused, and at the worst down right morons. I'm not surprised that the 'dive instructors' in question can't count past 5.

Anyway, I certainly won't be booking a vacation at any Sandals resort any time soon. There is no justification for abandoning these guys in the water.
