Instead of names why aren't numbers used?
Very practical - Hurricane 2005-1, 2005-2 . . .
That way no two hurricanes would ever have the same name.

The Greek letter after Nu and before Omicron is Xi (pronounced zzEYE). It is different from the letter Chi which is properly listed 3rd from last. Let's just hope we never get to use it!
