I'm so glad the diving is much better for you this year than last! I remember lamenting with you on SB about how both of us got basically NO diving in a year ago in July. Hubby and I are seriously considering moving to FL within a year. Maybe we'll get to dive with you next year! I hope the rest of your trip is fabulous. Keep posting vids....I'm living vicariously through them as I swelter in 100+ degrees in Arizona!

You are always welcome to join us..."adopted" Cajuns fit in quite nicely :D

Congrats! Must be all the red pepper in the gumbo that keeps y'all so warm. :)

We are having a GREAT time with the gang at Rainbow Reef Dive Center. First we got to dive with the weekend crew on Sunday, and while they took a couple of days off, we've had the opportunity to spend time with others on the staff. They're all becoming my scuba kids :D

The diving has been great. Our daughter and son-in-law are quickly becoming acclimated to diving...doing a great job! So far we have been on the shallow boat each morning checking out some of the sites on French Reef and Molasses Reef. This morning we even went out to Snapper Ledge...one of my favorite sites. Reefman tells me it's been very "fishy" lately. Unfortunately, the current was so strong this morning that we didn't get to enjoy the site much. For the second dive we motored over to Permit Ledge and found a little relief from the current.

Tomorrow morning five of us are diving the Spiegel Grove before joining up with our beginners to visit Christ in the afternoon. Should be a BUSY day. But not as busy as today...it's GUMBO time :balloons:

We had a BLAST today! The weather was fantastic and we managed to get in FOUR dives. I'm so tired right now I can't even come up with anything to say, so I will just post one favorite pic of the day. Of course...there will be MORE later :D

We are wrapping up an AWESOME week in Key Largo! The weather the past couple of days has been absolutely perfect. We're calling it the Atlantic LAKE :D There's nothing like this to leave you wanting more...

The house we rented for the week was absolutely perfect. It was large enough to accomodate all of us, and the whole downstairs area is set up for entertaining, which came in handy during the gumbo dinner! I REALLY enjoyed the opportunity to meet our Scubaboard buddies and spend a fun evening sharing food and fellowship. It was a special evening for all of us.

We're already planning for the 3rd Annual Cajun Invasion some time next year. I know it won't be in June, because NetDoc and mselaneous have convinced us the ScubaBoard Invasion in Cozumel will be too good to miss :D

MANY thanks to the gang at Rainbow Reef Dive Center. No request was too great for them. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are taken care of. Our loyalty continues to grow...

And now...a few parting shots:
