6mm is overkill at any time of the year in the Bahamas. The most I ever wore during the 2 years we lived there was 1/4" (3mm) with an Aeroskin sleeveless vest.

Thanks Sub, as I mentioned, I have never been in the winter months, and kinda for that reason.
Nice to know, a 3mm isn't bad.
I was just going by what Blackbeards site suggested. I figured the surface temps would be a bit cool, and I am not crazy about squeezing into a thick wetsuit three or four times a day on vacation, almost seems like work.
