Money doesn't matter except for the slr transformation.
If this is what I think gianster means then getting an Inon D-180 or D-2000 may not be your best choice right now. They both don't have provisions for a sync-cord connection. If you are likely to upgrade to a DSLR in the future then get an Inon Z-220 or Ikelite DS-125 with a manual controlller. They will both work with the PT-015 in full manual mode and also give you a better upgrade path to a DSLR.
BTW, the TTL of the Olympus camera coupled with Ike's conversion circuitary is very good - this has been testified by many users, some of who were non-believers of TTL.
