Florida Panhandle, for now
I'm probably moving up to VA Beach in Feb/March from Florida. The owner at my dive shop down here wants me to take a Neosport 7 mil Farmer John set off his hands. I used it today in 57 degrees and it was buoyant as heck, but very warm. Will this be a wise investment for VA Beach? Thanks for any help.

I would even strongly recommend getting a dry suit. Bottom temps often get into the mid 40's at 90-100'

If you already have a thinner wetsuit, I'd suggest getting a drysuit.

A couple of weeks ago, all but the toughest gave up on wetsuits for the year. I've gone from the sweats that I was wearing under my drysuit to the full underwear.

I don't expect to see much wetsuit use until April.
