770 or 790?

I am trying to find the better camera, it seems the 770 might be better but im not sure. I will be taking a lot of action shots and it seems that the 770 looks better for that and more durable. Im an newbie in this but i want the right camera for general use as well as underwater use while still being durable and take good pictures

Well I have the 790SW and a PT-041 housing. I wouldn't trust either of them without the housing.

I think I would look at the new 1090 I think it is, BTW, we love out 770SW and it takes excellent snaps. Pic below with the housing and Inon fisheye lens.
