Aircon?

no aircon in our eco resort no, it is actually not necessary: each bungalow is well ventilated and protected by the surrounded trees, and direct sun doesn't reach them after 2pm. It all makes it very comfortable, with a suspended fan for guests who like a little more air circulation at night

I flew from Denpasar to Kupang & Alor with Trans Nusa, I think. That was 6 years ago. I'm sure there are better flight options now. Check it with http://www.nusatrip.com/flights/search

Indeed as Dan_T said, to reach our resort the easiest ways to enter Indonesia are Jakarta, Bali (Denpasar) or Surabaya, and then to fly via Kupang. Then Kupang-Alor is a 40 minutes flight, operating twice every day.
Nusatrip.com is the best online platform to buy the domestic flights as it accepts international credit cards and is in English

We would recommend to fly with WingsAir / LionAir instead of TransNusa, they are much more reliable

What's the best time of year to visit Alor?

Hi Zenvagabond! The rainy season is from mid december until mid March; during this time the visibility is not so good so we are closed.
Rest of the year is great, with some seasonality: macro will be best on April-May and from September to December. End of the year, we also have more whales passing by in the straight, that we can even spot from our beach
