Have there been any numbers published on how many divers have been attacked by sharks?
 
Forget that scientific dry stats stuff. You need the markrob report.

Markrob was a fairly active poster of shark attacks a year or so ago who dedicated a website to keeping people out of the water http://swimatyourownrisk.com/category/shark-attacks/

He was always first on the scene with any shark attack reports and genuinely seemed to love having the bejesus scared out of him by the danger that lurks below.

Never mind about the statistical improbability of being attacked, the gory details sell way more papers!
