Just wondering why you chose such a strange battery connection system on the D01. It just looks like something that is going to wear out. What if you get some salt water on the contacts on the battery pack? Surely they'd be ruined prett quickly and impossible to repair.

you didn't read the fine print - these are freshwater only lights!
