Accomodations at Mermet Springs

Hi all gangs,

Do you have any recommendation for accomodation around Mermet Springs?

I have checked the Mermet homepage.

It shows a couple of motels.

Have you had any expereince with "DAY PLAZA INN "?
It seems like a good deal through Mermet Springs, but please let us know if you have any other good choices.

We like "Players Amerihost Inn". If you tell them your diving Mermet the cost is about 50 bucks. It's also on the parking lot of the casino. We are going to be there this weekend.

Day Plaza Inn is a dump. There's plenty of places in Metropolis and Paducah.

Check the Kentuck Pirhana Patrol. There are a couple of members from there going & they were discussing it in the Trips &Local Marketplace.....Kentucky in the "DUI Days at Mermet" thread. There are several accomodations listed.

I called Day Plaza Inn and Best Western yesterday. It looks like we are going to stay at Best Western with High Speed Internet.... I believe that four members will stay at Best Western........Chris, right?

Looks like that's the plan, Kenny and I are booked. I don't know about Doc
yet, I'm sure he said he was camping but there are some more divers with
him from Lexington, I do not know if they are camping also or heading for local
lodging.
