I installed the software and it seemed like the SAC and average depth issues are resolved. Everything appears good. (Of course I avoided the data entry issues the Ronbeau pointed out.)

BTW, I used the full version, not the patch version.

Hey Doug,

Uninstalled everything, reinstalled and tryed 2.1.0 version without patch. Works except gear bag still gives run time error 383

Installed patch....nothing works, get runtime error 339 and program shuts down?

This is a change that I didn't see noted in the Release note.

I have noticed that all the Air pressure values in this 2.1.0 release
are being rounded to the nearest 10 PSI. (at least for the Atmos AI)
While the manual (page 103) does state that the resolution
of the Atmos AI PDC is 10 PSI (0.5 bar), it is in fact 1 PSI. The
guaranteed accuracy and precision may be less than 1 PSI
but the display does show values that are not increments
of 10 PSI.

This rounding seems to occur only when the individual dive is
resaved not when the data is downloaded or originally saved.
This means that you can see the original values but if you
change anything in the dive data and save those changes,
the pressure values will be altered and rounded to the
nearest 10 PSI.

I'm not sure what the overall value is of having the PC s/w
doing this rounding on the PSI values that the PDC reports.
Why not just trust the PDC to report the right thing?
They were the real values that were displayed on the PDC
during the actual dive.

This rounding does slightly alter all the prevoius PSI values
reported and stored by the previous versions of ACI and will
slightly alter SAC values.

Doug,
I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask this, but I had the original software on my computer for my Aeris Atmos Elite that came with the unit a couple of years ago. When I downloaded the new version yesterday and installed it, all my old dives (logbook) was no longer assessable. Is there some way to get my old logged dives to show up in the newest software version?
Thanks for any help.
Paul

Tobagoman,

You should just have to import the dive data from the older program. Click on the file at the top of the new program and then import dive data. You then have to browse for your original ACI folder and then select your dive log *.MDL file.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I will try that when I get home this evening. I don't think I saw the import menu last night, but it was late and I was tired.

This fixes most of the issues I had with the beta. Unfortunately, the Gear Bag is still as useless as ever.

Thank you, too, for deleting the extraneous "r" from "Integrated Weight".

Very basic question: is this update relevant only for those who use the dive downloader or does it also affect the operation of the product itself?

I have a Mac (as do thousands of other divers, I believe) and I presume there isn't any Mac-compatible software available for this?

Correct. This update is for the Windows PC based download and
divelog s/w. It isn't needed to use the DiveComputer.

I don't think a MAC based version is available yet.

I can't even get it to open. :(

I get these error messages:

Error in Average Depth calculation

Run-time error '3265'
Item not found in this collection

Then it shuts down.
