I often use Sea Bees when I dive in Phuket/Khao Lak. My daughter and I have done several courses with them, the last being Rescue diver. They are a very professional run organization with great day boats. They have a "resort" associated with the shop, but it is not near the beach. It does have nice rooms and quite reasonably priced. But they can also help arrange other accomodations if you want to stay on the beach.
