I have an aeris epic and i made two dives last sunday, both non-violation dives and both in normal mode. About 1.5 hours after the second dive, the epic locked me out of normal mode and would only allow gauge or free mode. I realize that if you dive in gauge mode or have a violation dive that the computer locks you out normal mode but i did neither of those. About two hours after the lockout i went to set f, which was set for air. I scrolled thru all the nitrox mixes and set the computer to air again. I was then allowed to access norm mode. Also, i don't know if this matters but my f02 50% default is set to "off"
has anyone had a similar problem? The rep that i talked to at aeris says that this is not normal but i figure that if mine does it that other people have the same problem. If that is the case, i am not going to send it in for service.
