Aggressor/Galapagos - Cancelled?

i'll be on the belize aggressor in may.
is it possible that you did not send in your deposit?
i'm dealing with the same wholesaler.
they have done well by me.

I have a little bias here. Eight or nine years ago I booked and fully paid for a trip on the Galapagos Aggressor. I had to cancel at the last moment and their cancellation policy was clear--no refund. I called them up, told them I was a repeat customer and asked if they could do anything for me, hoping for a discount or a t-shirt to take the sting out of the $2,500 I'd just squandered. They gave me 2 years to use the trip on any Aggressor--above and beyond anything I had a right to expect.

Of course that was a long time ago and things change, but in my experience before and since then, Aggressor is an honorable company committed to its customers.

If they paid Aggressor and the deposit was accepted, they could take legal action against Aggressor in your behalf.

I seriously doubt this statement. I'm VERY positive that the Aggressor, like every other hotel, motel, airlines.... in the world has an agreement that states they can cancel at any time under any circumstance, and they limit the liability to the deposits made.. if that. :14:

I have to thank this forum for making the Aggressor Fleet come through with our vacation. After posting the thread, I had a call from one of the owners. Short story, it seems Aqua Dreams the wholesaler (Dive Travel Specialist) and the Aggressor office did not have open communications. Our dive vacation is no longer in June like we wanted but we are very happy with the out come. The owners of the Aggressor Fleet has invited us to join them in late April to dive with his private group.

Our dive vacation is no longer in June like we wanted but we are very happy with the out come. The owners of the Aggressor Fleet has invited us to join them in late April to dive with his private group.

I figured it was some type of miscommunication. When I saw this the other day I forwarded the thread to one of the owners of Aggressor. Glad things worked out.
