Aladin Prime Low Batt Life

I've got an Aladin Prime that works fine, but the battery only lasts a couple of hours. It's an older unit, but hardly used. Was there a problem with units built about 2005 or so?

Yes, there was an issue covered under waranty. Pls bring to your LDS to send in to Tech Services for inspection.

Thanks. Will do. Since posting I did find some other internet posts of similar symptoms for units of that vintage.

OK, so is this part of the symptoms of the issue: After about 24 hours following battery change, get low batt warning through repeated on/off cycles(dry), finally get E3 error code when submerged for about 2 hours. I removed the battery, let it sit for several hours, put the same battery back in battery level now showing all but the top bar filled.

Nevermind, once going through time, date, etc. reset, it's back to showing low batt.
