Darn shame, but like your friend said your on the right side of the grass.:cool2:

If there isn’t any reason you can't, how about at least snorkeling? I'm getting older and I can see my diving days ending also in the not to distant future. I'm hoping I'll be able to float around like old flotsam for a few years after doc tells me to stop diving. Good luck, good living! Hope your son carries on the tradition!

These, and a few others, had all crossed my mind, Mito. Still letting some time pass before making any decisions, but I like the way you think. Thanks for posting.

Todd.

That is very unfortunate news, sorry to hear. As you seem to be very passionate about diving maybe you could continue in other areas of the sport? The medical aspects ie: hypabaric medicine, O2 therapy/accident management, perhaps equipment specialist etc.... You are basically a Divemaster and have the knowledge to advance without actually being in the water. It's always hard to hear of a diver down, but allways remember you are still and will allways be a member in a HUGE community, and we like to look after our own.
Peace Bro :)
