I dont recall the prices at mine, but I know for people that bought their regs at my LDS (as opposed to somewhere else), get a hefty discount.
 
I do my own servicing...

6 sets of regs, both primary and backups
all are G250/Mk25 except for the Argon bottle reg and it's aMk10

kits cost about $10 ea. with the equipment (ultrasonic cleaner/tools/etc.) I figure it runs me about $15 ea per year.

Find a LDS and develop a relationship. Kick down some big ticket purchases and they'll help you out when the time comes, assuming they don't forget about you after the sale!
 
About 20 1st stages and 30 2nd stages and the fact that I had to bring back the last few regs I had serviced at the LDS due to free flow and too difficult to breathe from. The tech couldn't even decide which way he wanted to tune the regs!
