I'm an OW newbie of SCUBA diving and have little knowledge about the equipments. In my last diving trip in Phillippines I used 2 rented regulators and both of them somehow leaked. So I decided to prepare my own regulator and other equipments before my next trip.
Now there is a SCUBAPRO marketing campaign in China (I don't know whether it's a global campaign) this month, that the package of MK25+S600+R295+Regulator bag is sold by RMB 3750 (about $ 605). Is there anyone can give some advice about whether it is a good deal? Do you have any comments on MK25 and S600?
Thanks in advance.

Scubapro has changed their line for 2013 in the US, so there were deals recently. A MK25/S600 was being sold from a variety of sources between $400-$450. The R295 would sell for around $100 and the bag $20-30. So from recent US deals it is not all that great, but a good deal from a historical standpoint. The regulator itself is top-of-the-line and you will not find better.

Thank you for your information ams511.
Considering we actually produce a very large percent of global consumer goods, it's ironic to say that Chinese people actually have to pay more expensive prices to get the same product than that in US:( So $600 seems like a good deal to buy them in China.

The regs are not made in china. :) 600 isa good deal and the reg is very good.

Mk25/S600 is an excellent regulator. I've got three sets; two for technical diving and one on my single-tank rig. Scubapro are one the easier brands to get spares/repairs/service done globally also..

Contact Casey he's a member on this board "beaverdivers" and often has good deals running.

Shipping to China may kill the deal for him.

Can parts be purchased over-the-counter in the Philippines?
