Did the boat go on the inside or the outside of the reef? I've sailed up there quite often but never really thought about diving off there. Can't really take a sailboat inside but anchoring off the south side and swimming may be an option.
Anyone done a night dive @ Santa Monica Pier Reef?

THe boat moored just off Santa Monica pier to the north, towards Malibu, maybe 1/4 of a mile and we swam in the rest of the way. Giant Stride has another night dive coming up, I would contact Eco if you want to check it out!
