We are thinking about diving Baja this summer. I have been told that Mulege, some # of km north of Loreto, is a much nicer place.

Anyone have any experiences with either?

TIA

over the 4th of July weekend...counting the days. I can feel the warm water now...

Have you tried a search?

I searched on Mulege.....no hits. Based upon the low responses on here, sounds like its a place less traveled.

If its not too far out of your way, could you drop by and check it out for me :)

WE never went. There just wasn't enough information to support the idea of going down there for a week.

If you go, lets us know!

Dove in Mulege a few times. Long drive, The water was nice, Pongas were cheap. Fish were plentyful. No compressors down there so bring your own cylinders. Camped on the beach (dry, bring water). Small town-- sometimes they run out of gas, so bring Jerry cans. Anything else please ask.
