Aqua-Cat in Late Nov

My wife and I are doing our first Aqua-Cat trip in Nov for Thanksgiving week. We dive a lot in New England but was wondering what suit to bring for the bahamas this time of year? We have heard conflicting thoughts of a 3mm shorty to a Full 7mm suit. I was thinking about a 3mm for me and a 5mm for my wife just due to the amount of dives and exposure time in the water.

Anyone been this time of year and what do you think? Anyone else going this week?

I just got back. Used a 3mil shorty and was fine for 2 tanks. Did 3 one day and got chilled a bit. 45min dives.

I did Cat Ppalu and used a 5mm and was fine for all the dives. 4 a day including night dives.

Thanks everyone. We had a great time on the Aqua Cat. We wore full 3mm suits for the entire week, 5 dives a day and were completly fine. I did a shorty for some of the shallower dives but woulden't bring it next time.

What a great crew the Aqua Cat has, we can't wait to go back.

Can anyone comment on 3mm vs 5 mm for the Aquacat in early Febraury?

You might be able to get away with 3mm but most people woiuld prefer 5mm
