Atom 2.0 versus Atom any differences?

I'm looking for a new computer. My trusty Cochran tank unit has gone south and their less than helpful approach has sold me that its time to look elsewhere. I dive all Oceanic, well except for my computer but perhaps we can fix that.

Anyway I've been reading about the Atom 2.0 but I also see an just Atom listed and written about -- are they different machines or is it just laziness. If different how so and when were each of them introduced to the market.

Does anyone have information on the release (to market) dates for Atom versus Atom 2?
