Atomic is doing a voluntary recall on Atomics regulators with the serial number A07751 - A11276. These were manufactured between 5/11/99 and 10/27/99. The serial number can be found beneath second stage mouthpiece. They found a possible defective spring which could break without warning causing restricted airflow or air shut-off which could lead to drowning or personal injury. They suggest if you have one of these to contact a Atomics Aquatics authorized dealer for repair information.

Thought I would pass on the information!

The shop I bought my Atomic regulator from sent me a notice regarding the recall also. We're leaving next week to dive for a week and the shop (Dive West of Dallas) went out of their way to make sure we get our equipment back in plenty of time! Thought that was a nice touch.
