Weather forecast looks good for the next week. Gordon got turned and sent east towards Portugal, and I94L wave that just launched off of Cape Verde hasn't got a chance, destined to also get turned north or even east before it can even get to the playground. Unless something organizes within the Caribbean, it should be great weather as usual...!!

Best news I've heard all day! 50 more minutes of work and I'm on vacation, 38 hours till my flight.

Hey, come on down, the water is fine. Saw what-his-name the green moray with the broken jaw yesterday free swimming at San Fran Wall. Saw a really big hawksbill and a lil' tiny baby one. I hugged him. Okay I didn't hug him, but I did consider it!

Took my portable party to the French Quarter for the Friday Special of the Cajun Crab Boil. It was a tasty dinner, not really spicy, but flavorful. Met Dave in person. Nice guy and a nice restaurant. The in-laws wanted something not spicy, so he de-Cajuned a chicken breast for them. There was also a really nice breeze upstairs. I think we will be back there again.




Of course on the way home, some peeps needed ice cream. Stopped at the usual, 10 ave and Calle 1, I think.

BREAK! Ok I got my roll-on stuffed, my computer backpack loaded, and 2 - 40# bags. What am I forgetting? Not nearly enough packed. Something important I am sure. I keep looking around.

12 hours before I leave the casa. Gotta leave time to head the lavatory before we board...
