Avatar problems.

I can't seem to get the avatar selection to work at all- when I go to My Avatar, all i see is a box with a red X in it. Am I not configured properly? I can't do it from work, home or my laptop, so I don't think its me, but I've been known to be wrong before!

I see that I can add a "pre-defined" avatar, but to upload a custom avatar from my machine it seems that I need assistance from the Administrator.

Oops. I just saw that there is a "Request Avatar" forum. That answers my question.

FYI
When we switched to the 'new' format, we're having to reload many of the smilies that were available in the 'old' format. Please be a bit patient while the techies do their thing.
