While some of us watched the Superbowl, I got to dive. I have not been diving for over a month, because of stupid jobs and bad weather.

When diving at a super secret shore dive (shh if you know about it,:eyebrow: ninja stuff). I got to see like 5+ sharks in a cave, including a prego 7ft White Tip Reef Shark. Other creatures I saw were 3 squids, a baby turtle, and my first Sting Ray in the wild.

Please do not ask about the location. There are many sites on Oahu that I used to see sharks all the time, but lately are gone. I know there are some misguided people killing them because of fear or sport.

I know many sites that have sharks like this and life you see. I'm pretty sure folks in Hawaii don't kill white tips for sport or out of fear. And if you want to see Sandbar, Grey, Galapagos sharks just head toward Ewa they aren't dieing off...

IMO whitetips are pretty safe, since they're timid and don't bother fishermen much. Keep in mind that sharks do move around quite a bit, so sometimes they'll be in the cave and sometimes not.

Stingrays seem to have been popping up a lot more often than usual, lately. I've seen several in the last couple of months.

Just being safe. There are a few dive sites where there is now "night shark hunting". I do not want too many people visiting them and bothering them.

I was sworn to keep it a secret.

Here are some vids from odctube on 1/31/09

Great Pictures Blade. No offense, I have seen so many whitetips around on shore dives I can't count them on all of my fingers and toes...keeping a shore dive secret...? Ok :)
