The news articles says he was found on the bottom without a reg in his mouth, which would be a drowning and not the bends or an embolism.
I cannot find any news articles on this accident. Got a link?

It is about time someone did. I'll add that all captains talk and know most anything about everything. Accident 'analysis' by us commoners is valuable and I am glad to see some light shed on this accident. It has nothing to do with boats, rather, it is all about the diver.

Always sad when another diver passes. I learned to dive on the NY/NJ wrecks and to this day believe some of the best divers I have known, come from the northeast.

Condolences to Dan’s family. May he rest in peace.
